DEMIS - More than just machines

"Know-How for Surface Processing of Metal Coils and Sheets": This guiding principle has accompanied DEMIS for almost 30 years in the designing, manufacturing and assembling of processing machines for metal coils and sheets: Grinding, Polishing and Brushing of Stainless Steel coils, sheets and plates as well as other materials as Aluminium, Carbon Steel and Rubber. Since end of 2018, all activities of DEMIS have been taken over by BREUER GmbH & Co. KG and is now an elementary part of the overall portfolio. The DEMIS brand will be kept as the brand for dry grinding, finishing and brushing machines of coil and sheets, especially for Service Centres.
Dozens of Stainless-Steel Service Centres all over the world rely on the precision and performance of DEMIS equipment. With the development of the so called “Cork-Finish", which is produced with special cork agglomerate grinding belts, a brush finish can be achieved, which is remarkably similar to the well-known SB-Finish (Scotch Brite Finsh). The outstanding about it is the possibility to run the line with a feed speed up to 40-60 m/min in comparison to a brush line speed of 8 to 12 m/min. Many DEMIS customers have thus been able to increase their productivity of more than 75%.
