The BREUER buisness started 1928 in Solingen, a city that is world-famous for its blade and knife products and that has shaped the quality concept "Made in Solingen". In the initial phase, Mr. F. Wilhelm Breuer produced machines for the razor blade industry, like presses, stamping machines, unwinding systems and blade sanding machines.
BREUER was producing machines for razor blade manufacturing process, which includes also polishing machines to remove the oxide from the hardened and tempered steel strip. Later BREUER focussed on surface treatment only and designed grinding, polishing and brushing machines for the growing cold rolling industry.
